Greyson John made his entrance to this world April 16!
When I met him for his first photoshoot at my studio in Green Bay, he was already three weeks old, and starting to stretch his legs…

Ideally we want babies to be sound asleep during newborn photo sessions so we can pose them up in curly, sleepy positions.
But sometimes babies sleep on the way to the studio then are wide awake for their session, or are just checking out their new surroundings and don’t want to sleep. I like to photograph newborns within the first two weeks of life during their morning nap. But this doesn’t always guarantee a smooth session.

So whenever I have an awake baby, I have a little chat with them. I say, “you can be awake mister, but no screaming or crying. Those are my rules.” Joking of course.
For the most part, he listened pretty well! 🙂
First, I posed him with mommy…

Then with daddy…

Then with both!

Parent and family poses are the most requested so parents can enjoy their new family portrait up on the wall, and feel that love every time they walk by it.
Like in the bedroom…

Or perhaps a stairwell. This is the perfect place to showcase your family portraits!
How gorgeous is this print collection?!

Here’s a few more of this handsome little due:

I love designing wall art mock-ups for my clients so they can envision how their images will look on their living room wall, fireplace mantle or hallway!

And then, the best part … I place your print order FOR you, package it up and personally deliver it to your home! So you don’t have a USB of digital images sitting in your junk drawer collecting dust while you navigate the first year of parenthood. Your precious images are up ON YOUR WALLS right away, and you don’t have to lift a finger!
